Our Key Staff

Janet Mbaka - School Director

The founder of the school is an Educationist who possess a Bachelor's of Education Degree from the University of Nairobi .Upon graduation, she furthered her studies in Information Communications Technology, Project Management and Strategic Planning among other professional qualifications. She worked within the banking and ICT industry through the ranks to Senior Management level until 2008 when she left formal employment to refocus on her primary and childhood ambition of teaching. She thus founded Bran-Den Junior Academy, which currently provides regular nursery and primary school training, with a strong bias in ICT. Janet is a team player who leads by example and her own children are both schooling in Bran-Den Junior School. This demonstrates her strong commitment to ensure that the school continues to offer quality education into the future. Over and above personally running the school with the support of her staff, she personally conducts the couselling services for the pupils, staff and parents, leads all marketing initiatives.

Janet resides within the school premises which is another personal initiative to ensure that the boarders have a mother with them all the time. Her son who is in Class 8 is also a boarder in the school and a 2012 KCPE candidate.

Janet is a BOARD MEMBER in a number of Good performing Secondary Schools in Naivasha and is a Gifted freelance motivational speaker, financial management trainer, management trainer and cousellor especially to candidates in all levels - KCPE,KCSE, COLLEGE and UNIVERSITIES in the areas of Managing EXAM PANIC and AXIETY, OVERCOMING FEAR and GAINING SELF ESTEEM  ETC all geared towards personal achievement, professional/career achivement  as well as academic achievement.
